Efritin.com Marks One Year Anniversary

Efritin.com, Nigeria’s online retail place, recently marked its one year anniversary in a grand style. The colourful ceremony began with a football match held at the National Stadium Surulere, and had in attendance all the company staff (back office and field agents) competing against each other for the trophy. The celebration came to a close with a formal dinner at the Regent Hotel, GRA, Ikeja, where staff, friends, well-wishers, clients and vendors were also entertained.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Zubair Riaz, COO of the parent company, Saltside Technologies, reiterated Efritin.com’s commitment to growing and developing the online retail place in Nigeria.

According to him, by the company’s unique approach to securing and gaining trust in the online marketplace in Nigeria, it has bolstered the standard of excellence in the market, “and users now realise their rights to safety, the reason why many consider Efritin.com to be their safest choice.”

Riaz said, “It is exciting that one year after, we have been able to add value to the Nigerian market in some of the ways we imagined that we would when we first started.

“We now look forward to many more years we have to grow together and provide excellent service to this market,” he said, while also discussing some of the products and features Efritin.com is set to launch in the immediate future.”

He added, “The company also continues to develop new strategies to tackle new market challenges as they arise. One of which is its recent introduction of membership packages, including the top-up and bump up features on the site.”

Meanwhile, the company’s Category Manager, Gabisu Yusuf, shed light on the different membership packages at the event, especially on how they allowed business owners to host their shops independently on the Efritin.com website.

Yusuf said business owners could host shops independently on the online platform while leveraging on the traffic, safety and security measures from Efritin.com to attract interested buyers.

“Using the newly introduced ‘Top-up’ and ‘Bump up’ features, these members are also able to promote their ads on the site and target buyers.

“Since the launch of the memberships in February this year, Efritin.com has signed over 500 Nigerian businesses to the different membership packages,” he added.
